The imposing castle
A stone's throw from the house is the castle, which cannot be missed, as it is one of the best preserved medieval buildings in Piedmont. Furthermore, since 1376 it has belonged to the same family, the Roero di Monticello Counts who usually live in the castle. You will find further information below
Unbelievable but true. Monticello, a small village, has several contemporary works of art! First of all, "Fragments", the monumental work conceived and created by Valerio Berruti, a local but internationally acclaimed artist. This work is truly a stone's throw from home. "Sense of direction" by Jessica Carroll is located on the hill of San Ponzio, also within walking distance. And other works by the same artist are exhibited in the castle.
